Trafficking Justice October 2017 Prayer Update

Whispers of Hope

Psalm 12:1-5: “Help, O LORD, for the godly are fast disappearing! The faithful have vanished from the earth! Neighbors lie to each other, speaking with flattering lips and deceitful hearts. May the LORD cut off their flattering lips and silence their boastful tongues. They say, “We will lie to our hearts’ content. Our lips are our own—who can stop us?” The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them as they have longed for me to do.”

Praise God for women who meet with us, share their story and open up our eyes to needs we have not been aware of! He continues to expand our prayer life to include new situations/circumstances and to keep us on our knees (exactly where we want to be!) asking how Whispers of Hope can help.

Pray for women who have gone through Intensive counseling. It can be hard for some to find consistent Christian support.

Breaking Free
Pray that jobs would be provided for those who are looking and applying to positions.
Pray for hearts to be opened and to receive forgiveness.

Trafficking Justice
Pray for doors to continue opening at schools and church youth groups for us to be able to speak to teens about trafficking and what they can do to prevent it.
Pray for wisdom, guidance, and provision as we plan out Freedom Weekend 2018 and for creative inspiration as we think about future events and programs in 2017.

Source Annex
Pray for Source’s connections with pastors/churches and clearly communicate the importance of trafficking so they can join the fight through the Purple Light Project.

Beautiful and Loved
Pray for the people in the city. Pray that the love of Jesus would be so prevalent in the hearts of the people in the Twin Cities that there isn't a demand for this industry.
Pray for these strong, beautiful women. Pray for their safety, health, well-being, for wisdom, guidance and prosperity. Pray that they would come to know and treasure the love of God in Christ.
